We are looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking and proactive Chief Steward responsible for in managing the entire Stewarding operation and ensuring that all stewarding activities are completely aligned with the local and international safety and HACCP regulations, values and strategy of the Hotel.

Reporting to the Executive Chef, responsibilities and essential job functions of the Chief Steward include but are not limited to the following:

** Consistently provide professional, friendly and proactive guest service while supporting fellow Colleagues;
** Lead the Stewarding team in all aspects of the department, ensuring standards are maintained;
** Balance operational, administrative and colleague-related needs effectively;
** Attend regularly scheduled departmental meetings;
** Create and manage schedules for all Stewarding colleagues and supervisors;
** Supervise and maintain the sanitation of kitchen equipment and other assigned areas;
** Review all banquet event orders to ensure proper set-up and equipment availability;
** Ensure all breakages and chipped items are removed of circulation and properly inventoried;
** Ensure all equipment is in proper working condition and report any items requiring repair;
** Ensures all OS&E, buffet equipment, chinaware, glassware, silverware and kitchen equipment are properly stored and inventoried every two months; including items in the main storage and all additional storage areas;
** Maintain par stock levels as required;
** Maintain the garbage and waste-disposal area clean, tidy, and well-organized; ensure proper waste separation by category and maintain efficient, smooth communication and coordination with the contracted garbage company;
** Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards;
** Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment

Requirements:

** Previous experience as a Chief Steward or in a similar leadership role within a luxury or premium hotel is required;
** Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities;
** Computer literacy in Microsoft Windows applications;
** Proficiency in English and Georgian languages;
** Highly responsible and reliable;
** Ability to work cohesively as part of a team;
** Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
